Fatima: “This program changed my life.” (Morocco)

“My name is Fatima and I am 28 years old. I am married and have three children and live in Midelt, a small town in central Morocco.

“I live with my family in a household composed of eight family members. In order to meet the needs of my family, I decided to create a small business with my sister-in-law.

“I rented a small shop and signed a contract with a provider which specializes in natural cosmetics. I made some changes in the store and we benefitted from a loan of 10,000 DH awarded by AMOS, one of MEDA Maroc’s MFI partners. This sum will help us to pay for our first order of goods. I will also benefit from MEDA training in entrepreneurship and financial education with AMOS.

“This program changed my life. It has allowed me to start an income-generating project and become a productive person.”
