In the complex and unstable environment of the pandemic, we’ve all faced difficult situations that forced us to adapt and become resilient. But for communities already struggling against the odds, COVID-19 has upended local economies, plunging 130 million people into extreme poverty.
Connecting people to share resources, knowledge and access to opportunities is what MEDA is all about; partnering together with governments, institutions, and private supporters to ensure equal opportunities exist for entrepreneurs in the global south. Partner with us as we work towards a future where entrepreneurs everywhere are equipped and empowered to thrive in business.
While we had hoped to hold our 2021 event in Atlanta, event location details have now changed. For the safety of our staff, speakers and supporters, MEDA Convention 2021 will now be held virtually November 5&6, 2021. We hope you can join us for the same great speakers and plenary presenters from the comfort and safety of your own home. If you had previously registered for an in-person event, you will be contacted shortly regarding your refund. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We could spend all of our time focusing on the “what ifs” as well as the daily headlines. But we are determined to keep our eyes up, focusing on the future and the opportunities this brings; continuing our work of creating business solutions to poverty.
