On your marks...get set...bake! Foodies of all ages are invited to partake in this new virtual MEDA experience, hosted by MEDAx (next gen MEDA leaders). Learn about cassava from a Tanzanian farmer and hear from MEDA staff about the exciting work of the “Best Cassava Project” in East Africa. Meanwhile, next gen bakers will roll up their sleeves in real-time to create delicious baked goods using cassava flour. Who will be our first winner? Tune in to vote!
Open to young professionals (Gen X, Y, and Z) who have registered for MEDA convention. Not yet registered? Register today!
Bakers will have 1 hour to create a recipe that uses some part of the cassava plant. After the hour is complete, each baker will submit a one-minute video including (1) a brief description of what they made, (2) a close-up look at the finished creation, and (3) another household member tasting (and reacting!) to their baked good.
