4:00 p.m. - 20. Measuring What Matters Most to Better your Business and Be a Force for Good

Friday, November 3 at 4:00 p.m.
Business Issues

We’ve all heard it before, “You can’t manage what you don’t measure.” We believe one day all businesses will measure and manage their positive social and environmental impact with the same rigor as profit.

As the cultural trend toward social business continues, many business leaders wonder how to translate their values into concrete and actionable business practices. Where do you start? How do you continuously improve? How do you align the interests of your business with those of the larger community?

We will explore how business can be instrumental in being better and doing good for all stakeholders. Using examples from ASSETS’ Measure What Matters program and the community of certified B Corporations, we will explore how to benchmark and improve your company’s stakeholder impact using the B Impact Assessment. We will also explore the B Corp movement, why it matters, and its relevance your community.
