Serge Levert-Chiasson, Senior Partner, Managing Director, Operations & CCO: Serge leads the operations and compliance activities of Sarona. He has worked with Sarona Asset Management, formerly MEDA Investments, since 2008. He serves on several private equity funds’ advisory committees, corporate boards, and is on the advisory committee of B Lab Analytics. Prior to Sarona, Serge was an underwriter and loan officer at Export Development Canada, business analyst at Crédit Lyonnais, and founding chair of Agro Capital Management, a Ukrainian agricultural equipment leasing company. He holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics, an International MBA from the Schulich School of Business and is a CFA charter holder.
Jerry Quigley has worked in various management positions with MEDA since 1990. Jerry is currently Senior Vice President of Programs at MEDA, providing oversight to MEDA's three geographic areas of focus; West Africa/MENA Programs, Eastern Southern and Central Africa Programs, and Global Programs. He has served on numerous boards including several years as chair of the board of IMON microfinance bank in Tajikistan, chair of the board of Agro Capital Management in Ukraine and the chair of IMON Foundation in Tajikistan. Jerry is a seasoned consultant having executed a wide array of assignments including business and marketing plans, program designs and evaluations. Jerry is a graduate in economics and development studies from the University of Guelph.
