Nyan Linn is an entrepreneur and business owner whose business focuses on agriculture and livestock products in Myanmar. Under Nyan’s leadership, his company Shan Maw Myae secured a matching grant through MEDA’s Improving Marketing Opportunities for Women (IMOW) project. The grant supports the company’s commitment to purchase agricultural products from women farmers, as well as provide them with needed training in production and processing.
The lack of adequate medical care in Myanmar makes it essential for MEDA employees there to be well prepared for any medical emergencies. Over the span of a week, MEDA's security director and medic trained MEDA Myanmar employees and key facilitating partners everything from CPR to how to put on a C-Collar. Now we're prepared for anything and everything!
