Ghana’s economy is robust and dynamic, with 52% of its workforce involved in agriculture and comprising 54% of the country’s GDP. Ghana’s agricultural sector produces a variety of crops, ranging from cocoa, oil palm, coffee, rubber, cotton, tobacco, and rice. Although Ghana has diversified their agricultural exports, rice remains an important crop throughout the country. Ghana’s economy experienced strong growth in 2019 and is one of the most stable and prosperous countries in the continent of Africa.
