Suzanne Grub is MEDA’s Constituent Engagement Officer. In this role, she channels her extensive experience working with volunteers and oversees the MEDA network hubs and WEW Groups across Canada and the U.S.A.
Suzanne has over 15 years of experience in event management and sales. She has worked as an Event Logistics Coordinator at International Center (Mississauga) and managed in-house event planning details for trade shows, consumer shows, banquets, seminars, concerts, and tours. Suzanne was also the owner and operator of Wings of Elegance-Weddings and Events, where she coordinated and managed weddings, corporate events, and social events. Her food service sales experience includes working at Sysco Connect, Magnum Food Brokers (Territory Sales Manager), and Morton Food Service (Territory Sales Manager). In these positions, Suzanne supported restaurant chains/franchises and independently owned restaurants working directly with chefs and restaurant owners.
Suzanne has a Media Production diploma with a specialization in Communications. She also holds a Wedding Planning Certificate from Humber College and is a Certified Wedding Consultant and Coordinator and Destination Wedding Coordinator through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada.
