Fourth Generation Apple Farming

They say that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, but growing the best tasting apple doesn’t just happen overnight!  It happens over four generations of family farming.

In support of MEDA, the Waterloo Network Hub invites you to join us for breakfast as Robert and Lisa Shuh walk us through their incredible journey on entrepreneurship in shaping Shuh Orchards to what it is today.

Throughout the years of farming, the Shuh’s have learned the importance of investing in modern farming technology to aid in proper care of their crops.  They proudly harvest three varieties of apples that include Gala, Ambrosia and Honey Crisp.

Not only do the Shuh’s thrive on providing our community with the freshest and most nutritious apples; they also uphold the highest standards in partnering with seasonal agricultural workers over the spring and summer months through the Temporary Foreign Workers Program and Ministry of Labour.

From farm to table, the Shuh’s put everything into growing the best tasting apples in the area.

This is a presentation you don’t want to miss!
