Speaker: David Eagle

David Eagle is MEDA’s Senior Director, Global Program Operations, a center of excellence which supports strategy, standardization, best practices and compliance related to the implementation and delivery of projects and programs across MEDA’s regions. As an experienced international development and business professional, David has over 15 years of experience delivering sales, product marketing, product management and professional services. He is passionate about economic development and poverty reduction programs and has experience in client facing, strategic planning, and management roles.

In his extensive experience, David managed a portfolio of international economic development projects focused on Private Sector Development in the agriculture sector. These projects focused on building and strengthening business foundations to improve the well-being and livelihoods of smallholder farmers. His recent projects have been funded by the Global Affairs Canadian and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, located in Tanzania, Ghana, and Uganda.

David holds a Bachelor‘s in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University, Master’s in advanced technology management (MBA/ENG) from the University of British Columbia and Masters in Peace & Conflict Studies from Conrad Grebel University College at the University of Waterloo.
