Krista O’Brien is the Director of Creative and Corporate Communications for MEDA. She is an experienced communications professional with extensive experience providing expert communications advice and services to senior leaders, C-Suite professionals, and diverse stakeholders in the nonprofit sector.
Krista is a people leader that is highly skilled at harnessing the strengths and passions of her team to achieve mission-driven results. Her areas of expertise include strategy and process development, social media content development, crisis communications, media relations, project management, corporate and executive communications, and bridge-building between different audiences. Her diverse experience has come from serving in various senior roles in the non-profit sector over the past decade.
Krista has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in communication studies from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Suzanne Grub is MEDA’s Constituent Engagement Officer. In this role, she channels her extensive experience working with volunteers and oversees the MEDA network hubs and WEW Groups across Canada and the U.S.A.
Suzanne has over 15 years of experience in event management and sales. She has worked as an Event Logistics Coordinator at International Center (Mississauga) and managed in-house event planning details for trade shows, consumer shows, banquets, seminars, concerts, and tours. Suzanne was also the owner and operator of Wings of Elegance-Weddings and Events, where she coordinated and managed weddings, corporate events, and social events. Her food service sales experience includes working at Sysco Connect, Magnum Food Brokers (Territory Sales Manager), and Morton Food Service (Territory Sales Manager). In these positions, Suzanne supported restaurant chains/franchises and independently owned restaurants working directly with chefs and restaurant owners.
Suzanne has a Media Production diploma with a specialization in Communications. She also holds a Wedding Planning Certificate from Humber College and is a Certified Wedding Consultant and Coordinator and Destination Wedding Coordinator through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada.

Erika Wulff is MEDA’s Director, Investment Finance, and she brings over 20 years of experience in finance, structured credit, and investment management with top-tier financial institutions. Erika prides herself in having built strong and trusted relationships with institutional and private clients to develop strategic financing solutions to help them capitalize on investment opportunities.
For over ten years, Erika applied her passion for philanthropy by serving on the board of Opportunity International Canada, a non-profit micro-finance organization that works to tackle global poverty in a sustainable way through holistic transformation.
Erika holds an International Master of Business Administration from York University’s Schulich School of Business, and a Bachelor of Business Management degree from the Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). In addition, Erika is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and has completed the Not-for-Profit Governance Essential Program with the Institute for Corporate Directors from the University of Toronto. Erika is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and speaks conversational French.
