Behind the Veil: Experiencing Egypt 2009

Hello to all MEDA friends and supporters!

Have you ever dreamt of visiting Egypt? Here’s your chance to make it reality, and you can visit a MEDA program as part of the trip! I invite you to join Wilmer Martin and me, your hosts, in November 2009 as we travel to this intriguing country in Africa. Due to popular demand, the third annual Behind The Veil tour is planned for November 16 to 28, 2009.

We will explore how ancient civilization lived by starting in Cairo, a city of 25 million people, and then to Aswan in Upper Egypt, where we will take a three-day Nile boat cruise. The beautiful Nile River is the sustainer of life in this desert land.

A highlight of the previous tours has been a visit with the Egyptian children who are benefiting from the work of MEDA’s microfinance partner on a project called Promote and Protect The Interests Of Children Who Work (PPIC-W). More details about this continuing project are available by visiting my blog.

Some of you may remember my emails and diary postings from Cairo in 2005, which covered topics from Egyptian people, pyramids, camels and mummies to MEDA's project in Egypt. You now have a chance to see all of this firsthand with us and a professional Egyptian guide.

Complete itinerary of the 2009 BEHIND THE VEIL tour. Ready to register? Fill out the printable PDF form and reserve your space.

This is a rare opportunity for you to experience Egypt and its rich history in a way that most tour companies cannot deliver!... On the ground meeting MEDA microfinance partners, clients and the Egyptian children who need to work. The boat cruise includes stops to see the mighty Aswan dam, the Valley of the Kings, and Karnack Temple in Luxor. Any questions? Please pop me a message or call me at 1-800-665-7026. You can also contact TourMagination by phone 1-800-565-0451 or email.

I hope to hear from you
Peace...
