David Greene, host of NPR's Morning Edition
Speaking at the MEDA Convention 2015 - Saturday, November 7, 6:30 p.m.

David Greene recounts the personal stories of entrepreneurs who’ve touched and inspired him in his journalism career. All faced long odds, but turned challenges into victories and went on to build successful enterprises with an impact on their communities. David will take us from Kentucky lake country to Siberia, from Cuba to his own home, where David’s wife has opened a successful restaurant. We join David on an inspiring journey.

During his 10 years at National Public Radio, David has covered the Arab Spring in Libya, Chernobyl 25 years after, Hurricane Katrina, the recession in America and the historic 2008 U.S. presidential election. Since 2012, David has been a host of NPR’s Morning Edition, with Steve Inskeep and Renee Montagne.

David is the author of Midnight in Siberia: A Train Journey Into The Heart Of Russia.
