MEDA wins ministerial kudos

MEDA received tremendous encouragement at a recent function in Islamabad, Pakistan. MEDA staff members Helen Loftin, regional project manager, second from left, and Rachel Hess, senior consultant/project manager, far right, are pictured with Randolph Mank, Canada's new High Commissioner to Pakistan, and Bev Oda, Canada's Minister for International Cooperation, at an event to mark the minister's visit on Aug. 11. MEDA was among several CIDA-funded organizations invited to the event. Notes Helen: "Bev Oda greeted Rachel and me warmly, saying, 'I am a huge admirer of the work that MEDA does,' and thanked us for our hard work and efforts."
