

Jonathan Muradzicua has joined MEDA as rural finance manager, Mozambique, for MEDA’s new two-year project funded by the European Commission. The project is designed to help poor agriculture-dependent households in Maputo province to increase their incomes and improve their food security through improved access to financial products.
Jonathan will have primary responsibility for the technical aspects of this project, working directly through a local microfinance institution, Male Yeru, an MFI partner, as well as in partnership with a range of private, public and not-for-profit stakeholders.
Jonathan is Mozambican and lives in the city of Maputo with his wife and five children. A graduate of the University of Zimbabwe with a specialty in accounting, he has been free-lancing as a consultant for the past two years.
He comes to MEDA with experience in the design and delivery of business training courses, business analysis, market appraisal, cash flow and risk evaluation.
