MEDA in Europe hires director

Titus Horsch

Titus Horsch has joined MEDA as director, Europe. With this appointment MEDA is embarking on a two-year market development initiative to engage with European donor agencies and to invite business people to capture MEDA’s vision of “creating business solutions to poverty” by donating and investing in support of MEDA.

Titus and his wife, Anita, have four children, ages 9 to 19. The family lives in Neuwied/Rhein, Germany. A trained agriculturist, Titus spent five years farming.

He has also worked as a business manager, leading turnarounds in several organizations and developing green energy projects in Germany. He obtained his MBA from the University of Applied Sciences, Ludwigshafen in 1996. Titus will be working closely with Marketing & Resource Development and International Operations and will report to Gerhard Pries, chief financial officer.
