Canada Day in Kabul

MEDA Afghanistan country manager Catherine Sobrevega and MEDA region manager Helen Loftin attended the Canada Day celebration hosted by the Canadian Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan on July 1. Helen, at left, is pictured with Rida Azimi, a senator in the Afghanistan government representing Parwan province, where MEDA's project, Through the Garden Gate, operates. Rida subsequently joined the TTGG project advisory committee and attended the group's semi-annual meeting July 23.
