How to get to Toronto? MEDA makes it easy with various transportation
options, and a reminder to reserve your room at the Hilton Toronto.
Michiana MEDA Bus
The Michiana MEDA Board encourages members to attend and has reserved a
Cardinal bus to make transportation easy for you. They will leave
Thursday morning, Nov. 1, from Goshen, and will depart from Toronto
following the Sunday morning service.
Cost of the bus will be around $90 per person depending on the number
going. About 15 have already indicated their intention to take the bus,
so please reserve your bus seat as soon as possible by emailing
reservations@michianameda.org or by calling (877) 787-6332 or (574)
533-0657. The bus reservation deadline is Sept. 30.
Lancaster MEDA: Motorcoach travel from Lancaster, PA.
Coach departure: Nov. 1; Pick up from Elite Garage (6:00 a.m.) or
Lancaster Shopping Center (6:30 a.m.);
Rest and meal stops en route at own expense. As time allows, a brief
visit at Niagara Falls, ON.
Arrive Hilton Toronto, 5:30 p.m.
Coach return: Nov. 4, 11:00 a.m. from Hilton Toronto Hotel;
Arrive Lancaster, 9:00 p.m.
$185 per person round trip (funds over and above transportation
expenses will be given to MEDA Lancaster's new chapter project for
Ethiopia). Call the MYW Tours office (717) 653-1111 for registrations.

Rental cars
Avis, the convention's official car rental company, is offering a
special discount to MEDA delegates. For reservations simply call (800)
331-1600 and quote Avis Worldwide Discount AWD #J867763 or book on line
at www.avis.com.
Hotel parking
The rate for overnight self-parking is $27 CAD and the overnight valet
parking rate is $30 CAD. Both rates allow unlimited in and out
privileges for attendees staying at the hotel.
Shuttle
An airport express shuttle runs from Pearson International Airport to
downtown Toronto every 20 minutes between 4:15 am and 11:10 pm. The
nearest drop-off point is one block from the hotel at the corner of York
and Richmond Streets. The journey takes about 40 minutes and no
reservation is needed. The cost is $16.95 CAD one way or $29.75 CAD
return (rates are subject to change).
(New!) If you want to reserve a spot ahead of time, you can receive a
10% discount by registering online at MEDA Airport Transfers Online.
Taxis
Most taxi companies offer flat rates to and from the airport. A one-way
trip on the meter is about $40 CAD with tip (rates subject to change).
