Imagine experiencing the rugged and often treacherous trek across the Silk Road. For more than 2000 years adventurers, entrepreneurs and business men and women have dared to travel the road in spite of its dangers. This 5,000 mile journey bridged the east and the west, opening the doors for the intrigue of foreign trade.

We’ve just returned from this remarkable trip. A group of 18 MEDA members joined Wilmer Martin from Tourmagination and me for an unforgettable journey down the Silk Road including a tour of MEDA’s projects in Tajikistan.
