As I reflect from my past, I think of moments where I have witnessed the sparkle that lights up one’s eyes with renewed hope and enthusiasm, with a desire to better care for one’s family and business partners, and with a sense of passion to do more for the church and community. This is the hope that MEDA has given to many.

For a number of years I worked with MCC and I was on the receiving end of MEDA. I witnessed that sparkle, that new hope and excitement as each participant purchased their first sewing machine, their first plants of pineapple, a plow, a harness for their horses, a peanut sheller or a welder for their work shop.

MEDA has touched the lives of many with a small simple loan. I have seen the effect it has had on those that have participated. It has given pride, confidence, encouragement, hope, a grateful heart and an attitude that “I can do it.”

MEDA, you are a terrific organization! You have encouraged my faith. Many people have given willingly to support MEDA. I appreciate that because it has made me a better person for God – because those experiences that I have tasted and because of the willing hands of many.

If you aren’t involved with MEDA, do get involved. It is another great way to be involved with Kingdom building.
