Tour Stanley Park Totem Pole low resA deluxe motor coach tour will show our MEDA tour group the beauty and artistic diversity of the city. The adventure begins with a drive through world famous Stanley Park, a 1,000-acre forest set in the heart of downtown. The Park's scenic drive includes Lost Lagoon, a stop at the Totem Poles and Prospect Point while providing excellent views of the city, harbour and shoreline. Heading over the Lions Gate Bridge, we find ourselves on the mountain at the Capilano Suspension Bridge providing access to towering evergreens, cedar-scented rainforest air and Treetops Adventure which comprises 7 suspended footbridges offering views 110 feet above the forest floor. The awe-inspiring views are incredible here at one of Vancouver’s top tourist attractions. History, culture and nature are presented in unique and thrilling ways with knowledgeable staff and interpretive signage. As we return to the city we will explore the famous neighborhoods of Vancouver covering Chinatown (second largest in North America!) and Gastown with its quaint cobblestone streets, steam clock and unique shops all housed in turn-of-the-century buildings. The tour continues at Granville Island Public Market where you can shop, explore the market and enjoy walking in an artisan’s paradise. Here you will have time to walk through the market and enjoy lunch at your leisure.

Tour includes guided all day tour with coach, entrance fees for Capilano Suspension Bridge and a diverse and interesting sampling of the city sights. (Lunch is on your own at Granville Island.)
