So much of leadership comes down to the way we care for people. Effective leadership begins with a strong grasp of our personal emotional intelligence. How emotionally intelligent are you? Being self-aware, empathetic and able to self-regulate are not bonus leadership traits; they are vital to personal, team and organizational success. Together, we’ll discuss the power behind the Three E’s of Effective Leadership: emotional intelligence, encouragement and enabling others and learn how they can transform your personal leadership style, team and organization.
Bethany Nussbaum is a Senior Development Officer for MEDA currently living in Orrville, Ohio with her husband Scott. With over 10 years of professional experience in development and various leadership roles, Bethany is passionate about empowering and developing others through building relationships and connecting people. She is a 2008 graduate of Values-Based Leadership Program (VBLP) and current member of the steering committee. In 2013 she helped launch a youth version of VBLP that she co-facilitates annually. She earned her MBA with a concentration in leadership from Goshen College in 2016.
