Expanding financial services to previously un-banked populations through innovation and support for a range of partners, enhancing their capacity to offer services, leading to increased economic activity and decreased poverty for their clients.
Access to financial services is crucial to develop, expand and maintain a successful business. Affordable credit and accessible savings products are largely unavailable to the majority of the population living in the underdeveloped and developing world. MEDA works with different local partners – financial institutions, businesses, and service companies – to expand access to financial services. The goal is to help institutions extend services to their customers and develop the innovative financial services that businesses and households need to smooth cash flows, invest or save.
Constantly evolving, we provide specialized services such as:
1) Micro & SME Finance
2) Value Chain Financing Solutions
3) Branchless Banking Services
4) Risk Management
