Women's Economic Empowerment

MEDA currently has nine programs in four countries – Afghanistan, Haiti, Pakistan and Tanzania – where the vast majority of clients are women. Across our projects, we see women’s income increase by 200% or more as a result of our work. And the investment keeps on yielding returns – health, education, stability, assets, respect and prosperity.

Over the next three years, MEDA will expand its women’s economic empowerment programs to help a total of three million women in six countries find a road out of poverty.
