Deposit Mobilization ensures access to savings services so underserved people can maximize economic opportunities for their families and build assets for the future. In this area, MEDA focuses on analyzing and strengthening the institutional capacity of MFIs and assisting MFIs in their transformation into regulated deposit-taking organizations.  The team has led market research and client-responsive product development for MFIs and SME markets in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt, and Morocco among other countries.
