MEDA hires new Director of Resource Development
MEDA (Mennonite Economic Development Associates) is pleased to announce that Marlin Hershey has joined the organization as Director of Resource Development.
Based in MEDA's Lancaster, PA office, Marlin will lead the Resource Development team in upcoming major campaigns and in promoting a new bequest program.
"Over 56 years, MEDA has earned an excellent reputation in economic development for creating lasting business solutions to poverty," says Marlin. "I'm excited about the opportunity to be part of MEDA and its mission and vision."
An experienced development and planned giving officer, most recently with the Mennonite Foundation, Marlin has earned the designation CAP – Chartered Advisor of Philanthropy – through The American College. He is a graduate of the National Planned Giving Institute of William & Mary College in Williamsburg, VA.
Marlin and his wife, Barbara, live in Lancaster, where they are involved with the East Chestnut Street Mennonite Church.
