Member Engagement
MEDA is an economic development organization that is supported by
an association of 3,000 members who believe that faith influences their
decisions and relationships as business persons and professionals.
MEDA's Member Engagement department affirms that all are called
to use their gifts, no matter where they work or what they do. We also
affirm that business is a special calling from God—the creation of
employment and beneficial products is part of God's work in the world.
We invite people who also feel this way to join with us in "connecting
their faith and work in a needy world." MEDA affirms its members in
their callings in business and the professions, providing them with
inspiration and encouragement through products such as:
Members associate with MEDA at various levels:
- As a bi-national faith/business/development organization—attending the
annual convention, supporting economic development projects, helping MEDA to
grow.
- In groups of members—chapters, coffee groups, affinity groups etc—who
implement MEDA mission at the local level.
- As an individual who shares MEDA's values and puts them to practice in
business, at church, across the street and around the world.
